Paonia Jr. Sr. High School
Paonia Junior Senior High School is the only high school in town. It was established in 1904 and has been functioning since then. Other than PHS there is also Paonia Elementary School and Lamborn Valley School, which is private.
The high school holds 185 students in total in grades 9 through 12. In 2006/2007, the Freshmen class had 47 students, Sophomore class 57 students, Junior class 44 students and Senior class 37 students. The school mascot is an eagle.
